During this weekend the participants in her workshop will experience her professionalism and incredible teaching method that developed many generations of dancers around the world. Famous to the world as a personal friend of Pina Bausch, Luise refused her invitation to dance and work in her company because аt that point she had already discovered and started her own teaching method.
LOUISE FRANK spent more than 30 years teaching at the Rotterdam Dance Academy in Limon, improvisation and composition. As a guest lecturer, she taught companies and courses worldwide such as: Dutch Dance Theater, Rosas, Tanz Theater Hannover, Ecole Supérieur de Danse Cannes, Rosella Hightower and the Hungarian Dance Academy. Today she is still working with many of these dance companies and academies, she is an honorary guest in Codarts and a very desirable guest instructor at the Dutch Dance Theater.
Louise Frank danced at, among others, Australian Dance Theater, London Contemporary Dance Theater, Batsheva Dance Company and Martha Graham Dance Company. She performed choreographies of, among others, Pina Bausch, Martha Graham, Nils Christe, Takako Asakawa.
The workshop with Louise Frank in Sofia will be held at Derida Dance Center.
