The course starts on 6th March. Previous registration is not needed, you register at Derida Dance Center right before the class’ start.
Floor-barre-Zena Rommett’s method. This is a class for both professional and non-professional dancers that lets them feel their bodies in a completely different way. It mostly develops the foot, the openness of the hip joints and fosters proper technical work by developing a ”methodological body”, correct posture, and flexibility. It also allows the practitioners to gain a deeper awareness of their bodies. The class is perfect for dancers who suffered from traumas and wish to get back in the dance hall and also for the ones who want to prevent themselves from getting injured. Dancers who are in the beginning of their training and are looking for a professional development are also welcomed at Derida Dance Center.
Teacher-Stefan Nikolov
Stefan Nikolov is a dance teacher and performer in various genres. He is a student of Benjamin Feliksdal- classical and contemporary ballet teacher from Holland, author of several books with pedagogic subject. Feliksdal teaches Stefan in the areas of classical ballet, jazz, dance pedagogy, choreography and dance history. Later Stefan becomes a student at the oldest flamenco school in the world-“Amor de dios” in Madrid, Spain. He participates in many performances and programs, that have been aired on the Spain national TV. Besides flamenco, he goes in for irish dance too.
