Космин Манулеску е изпълнител и хореограф, издигнал съвременния танц на едно ново, по-високо ниво в Румъния. След серия от успешни интернационални проекти из Европа, Япония и САЩ, Космин идва и в София. „Емоция на тялото“ изучава тялото, базирайки се на работещ метод, създаден от Космин по време на програмата "E-Motional ".
Не Ви каним на обикновен уъркшоп, а на парти. Не Ви каним и на обикновено парти, а на такова, което ще помните дълго време и което ще Ви помогне да (пре)откриете своите тела чрез серия от упражнения и сесии със затворени очи, импровизации и изпълнителни игри, в които светлините и съзнанието са ключови елементи . Събитието ще започне с кратко въведение и подгряване, в което всички участници ще имат възможност да се запознаят. Уъркшоп представлението ще бъде проведено на английски език и ще бъде достъпно както за хореографи и танцьори, така и за любители и хора без никакъв опит в сферата на танца.
Космин Манулеску е хореограф, куратор и артистичен директор на Serial Paradise Company/Gabriela Tudor Foundation. От 1997 год. той играе важна роля в развитието на съвременния танц в Румъния. Неговото творчество бива успешно представяно на фестивали в Ню Йорк, Сан Диего, Париж, Лион, Лондон и още много градове по света.Той е съоткривател и съорганизатор на Balkan Dance Platform (2001-2011) и президент на дружеството „Габриела Тюдор“ през годините 1997-1999. През 2010-2011 год. открива „Движещият се диалог“ - танцова обмяна, проведена в Букурещ и Ню Йорк, в която над 15 артисти и от двете страни участват в различни работилници. През 2011-2015, заедно със Стефания Ферчедау, ръководи E-Motional (www.e-motional.eu) - проучване, развито на различни нива в много европейски страни. През 2013 поставя началото на “Eastern Connection”- тригодишна програма на сътрудничество между Румъния и Япония. Космин получава различни награди и признания за работата си в културния сектор. Интересува се от междукултурни колаборации, обмяна, експериментиране, артистични иновации, създаване на проекти, представления и работилници. През октомври 2017 в Букурещ ще бъде премиерата на неговия нов артистичен проект, наречен dans#wanderer (www.danswanderer.ro).

Then join us for a night-long dance event led by Cosmin Manolescu, a dance maker and curator based in Bucharest.
Following a series of successful international European projects & exchanges led across Europe, Japan and USA, Cosmin Manolescu is returning to Sofia after 16 years with a workshop-performance-party. PARTYING with the emotional body is a night-long dance event, focusing on the exploration of the emotional body, based on a working method developed by Cosmin during the "E-Motional " programme. Participants are invited to (re)discover their body through a series of exercises and working sessions with closed eyes, improvisation and performative games. Touch, exploration and wandering sessions, working with the lights and the imagination are key elements of this dance encounter. The event will start with a short introduction & warm up session in which all the participants will be invited to introduce themselves. The workshop-performance will be held in English and is open to dance makers, dance students, contact-improvisation lovers as well as local audience - who are encouraged to join our special event.
Cosmin Manolescu is choreographer, curator and artistic director of the Serial Paradise Company/Gabriela Tudor Foundation. Since 1997, he played an important role in the development of contemporary dance in Romania. . His artistic work was successfully presented in important festivals and venues in New York, San Diego, Paris, Lyon, London, etc. He was the co-founder and co-organiser of the Balkan Dance Platform (2001-2011). He is also the initiator of Gabriela Tudor fellowship in cultural management dedicated to the memory of Gabriela Tudor, co-founder and President of the Foundation between 1997-1999. In 2010-2011 he initiated the Moving Dialogue, a Bucharest/New York dance exchange in which over 15 artists from both countries participated in series of workshops, residencies and sharing practice sessions. Between 2011-2015, in collaboration with Stefania Ferchedau, he directed E-Motional (www.e-motional.eu), a European mobility, artistic research, exchange and co-production project developed in different phases in various European countries.In 2013 he initiated “Eastern Connection” – a three-year programme of exchanges and collaboration between Romania and Japan. In the last years he received several prizes as a recognition of his work in the cultural field offered by public institutions in Romania like National Dance Center (2014) the Administration of the National Cultural Fund (2017). Cosmin Manolescu is currently interested in cross-cultural collaboration and exchange, experiment and artistic innovation, creating projects, performances and workshops that challenge the participants. In October 2017 we will premiere in Bucharest his new durational artistic project called dans#wanderer (www.danswanderer.ro).

✓ Tickets: For reservations made by 20th September – 30BGN; after 20th September – 40BGN. You can pay in the day of the workshop at the reception desk at Derida Dance Center.
✓ The event will start at 21:00 and will finish at sunrise (or when the last participant leaves) but the access is open only until 22.00.
